International Business Plans

Through the Free Trade Alliance Education Foundation, we provide opportunities for businesses to work with university students from around the globe , providing you with energetic talent that has an understanding of cultural issues impacting global business and often times brings language skills and personal connections in a country of itnerest for your business.  Teams are paired with mentors based upon the complexity of the project, the country or region involved and the industry.

Over an approximately three month period, business executives mentor a team of 2-5 globally minded students to assist you in developing your international business plan. Companies that have mentored teams in the past include: AstraZeneca, Boeing, EnertisSolar, Frost Bank, H-E-B, Valero, KCI, Port San Antonio, Proctor & Gamble, Scholastic Books, and many others.  Students range from undergraduates to Ph.d candidates and often times are participating for course credit, in addition to their share of $26,250 in cash awards.  More important than the financial awards, these students gain tremendous insight into international business, while developing lifelong friendships that connect them to other future leaders around the globe.  You benefit by receiving a well thought out business plan that addresses your global expansion and exposure to bright, young talent that may serve as a future employee.
