Free Trade Alliance Confirms FedEx VP for Global Trade Policy Forum
San Antonio, Texas – Free Trade Alliance is pleased to announce that it has confirmed Mr. Ralph Carter, Managing Director and VP of Government Affairs for FedEx as a keynote speaker for the Global Trade Policy Forum, hosted in affiliation with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on April 14, 2010, from 8:00am – 4:00pm at the Westin Riverwalk, 420 Market Street, San Antonio, Texas 78205.
The Global Trade Policy Forum brings together international, national and regional leaders to discuss policy and trade issues affecting the Texas and U.S. economies. Mr. Carter joins the growing roster of speakers that includes: The Honorable William Brownfield, U.S. Ambassador to Colombia, the Honorable Jaime Aleman Healy, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to the U.S., the Honorable Hope Andrade, Texas Secretary of State, Mr. Daniel Griswold, Director, Center for Trade Policy Studies, the CATO Institute and Dr. Mark Wynne, Sr. Economist and V.P., Dir. of the Globalization and Monetary Policy Institute, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Emcee for the Forum will be Ms. Leslie Schweitzer, Senior Trade Advisor, U.S. Chamber of Commerce and TradeRoots.
The Forum is open to the public. Cost is $95 for members of the Free Trade Alliance, Greater Chamber and San Antonio Hispanic Chamber and $125 for non-members of these organizations. In addition, the Alliance is offering a student rate of $80 to currently enrolled college and university students. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are available.
