Free Trade Alliance Incubator Program Celebrates 10 Years
& Hosts Program Graduates
San Antonio, TX – The Free Trade Alliance will host its International Business Development Center (IBDC) 10th Anniversary & Recognition Celebration at a cocktail reception on Thursday, November 11, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Mexican Consulate, 127 Navarro Street.
The Alliance’s business incubator program has helped many companies, primarily from Mexico, gain footholds in the U.S. consumer market. 2009 marks the 10th anniversary for the program that is flourishing at the Alliance’s satellite office at Port San Antonio.
The International Business Development Center (IBDC) is a business accelerator that helps foreign companies expand into the United States marketplace, the IBDC is a partnership between public and private organizations that support the development of San Antonio as a destination for international investment and contributes to the growth of the region’s economy.
The Alliance will also be recognizing recent graduates of the program in a brief ceremony during the reception that will be hosted by Consul General Armando Ortiz Rocha. This will be the first time that Consul Ortiz will host the reception during his tenure in San Antonio.
The reception is open to the public and a $20 contribution is requested. Members of the Alliance, Hispanic Chamber & Greater Chamber are invited a no charge. Seating is extremely limited. Registration is available online at www.freetradealliance.org.
